These 2 pictures are official US Navy . I bought these to raise money for charity a few years ago The first one is dated 6 September 1985. On the back it reads "Atlantic Ocean....An elevated port bow view of the battleship USS Iowa (BB-61) as it refuels the guided missile destroyer USS Halyburton (FFG-40) during an underway replenishment. The ships are participating in NATO Exercise Ocean Safari '85.
The second picture is dated 1 July 1984 and the back reads " Caribbean Sea....A vertical port view of the Battleship USS Iowa (BB-61) firing all 15 of its guns (nine 16-inch and 6 5-inch) during a target exercise near Vieques Island. Careful observation of the three main turrets shows the barrels in various states of recoil."
